An Author, photographer, and researcher of Architectural history, head of the Cultural Heritage Department of the Slovenian Ministry of Culture, studying architecture from Baroque to modern times

2. Started to work at the France Stele Institute of Art History at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and in 1995 became its director(1971)

3. Since 1992, has been a regular member of the European Academy of Science and Art, based in Austria.

5. Was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Czech Republic (1998-2002)

6. Awarded the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague honorary doctorate(2008)
